How to Choose a Submersible Pump?

In the industry, there are many types of submersible pumps, which certainly play a crucial role in the process of extracting liquids from wells and other ideal places for their use.

Today we will talk about what a submersible pump is and when it is a good tool to use.

What is a submersible pump?

A submersible pump is not one that sucks water but one that uses its power to push water to the surface from where it is requested.

It is very efficient in its use for wells, it consists of a single tube that comes from the well and this can be assembled with a special tank for storage, its use is particular because it will only pump water as required, its size, shape and material are properly manufactured so that it can remain submerged in the water.

How to choose a submersible pump?

One of the factors that you should take into account when buying a submersible water pump is the distance/depth at which the liquid to be pumped is located, what type of liquid is to be worked with, whether it can contain mud, among others.

The distance to which the liquid will be pumped is also fundamental because this action will make you opt for a pump with less or greater force. There are some other factors to consider such as the well: its diameter, the rise, and the immersion.

Other factors for your choice

To choose the ideal submersible pump you should also take into consideration its power, the water temperature, usage and type of liquid (clear or turbid waters), immersion depth, height, among others.

It is worth mentioning that well water is rarely used as drinking water since the filtration is never precise enough to eliminate sediment and what its contamination implies (bacteria, nitrates, etc.)

It is also ideal that the pump is suspended and not flush with the floor, so that it does not aspirate dirt from the ground itself.

Taking into account the above, you are prepared to make a correct choice. If you have any questions or doubts, contact us! We will attend and answer your question.
